Kurt Vonnegut was an author, satirist, artist and humanist. He was born in 1922 and died in 2007 at the age of 84. He is most famous for his books Slaughterhouse Five, Cat’s Cradle and Breakfast of Champions, which he wrote in the 60s and early 70s. Vonnegut’s books are often on reading lists in American schools. Although, many of his works have been challenged and censored. His humanist beliefs led him to become the honorary president of the American Humanist Association.
